The Ultimate Curry Project

This was a long-term project that the children at VIVISTOP Kanazawa worked on for a year’s time, starting in summer 2021.

 Seeking to create the “ultimate curry,” the children explored this dish from a variety of vantage points, such as recipe development, research into spices and seasonings, space design for the restaurant, service design, interior decor and accessory crafting, public relations, and more. They finally arrived at their own version of “ultimate,” namely that “experience is what makes food the ultimate.” Thus, they set out to design a restaurant experience that would be unforgettable.

 On August 3rd, 2022, SPICE FOREST opened for a limited time. Care and attention went into the experience, the space, the service, the attire, and of course the food.

 Everything was handmade by the children.

 In the end, over 130 people patronized SPICE FOREST for what was surely an experience they won’t soon forget.
