Talking with young people gave me new perspectives.

 

Masahiro first visited TENJO in May 2024 for business consultation. Although he had been researching and planning to open a high-end coffee shop, his ideas haven’t come together.

Over the next two months, he held weekly mentoring sessions to refine his business concept and vision for the shop. Using the finalized business plan, he pursued financing, searched for property, and completed company registration.

Masahiro, in his 40s, participated in the Nomachi Accelerator Program alongside a diverse group of students and working professionals. While sharing the process of launching his business with other members, he listened to the opinions of younger participants and incorporated new perspectives.

He later found the ideal property, made thorough preparations, and finally opened his long-awaited coffee roastery in October 2025.

Yukigeame – The shop will be a self-roasting coffee lounge offering high-quality specialty coffee.

 

Specialty Coffee refers to a category of coffee meeting exceptional standards in quality, flavor, and traceability, aimed at sustainable production. Less than 5% of coffee distributed domestically falls into this category, with the highest-rated among them known as “Top Specialty Coffee” or “Top of Top,” highly sought after by coffee enthusiasts.
