The support I received allowed me to take concrete action and move closer to realizing my project.
Mako, a passionate manga fan, longed for a place to meet fellow enthusiasts in person, beyond online interactions. She joined the accelerator program to bring her vision of a “manga lovers’ hub” to life.
While scouting potential locations, financial and operational challenges became apparent. Mentoring helped her pivot to start small, focusing on events and online gatherings before establishing a physical space. She began testing her ideas through small workshops and is now preparing for an event in 2025.
Mako continues exploring how to create a community where people connect through a shared love of manga, steadily progressing toward her dream.
