TENJO Internship

The TENJO internship is a practical program in which multiple members think and act together for a set period of time on a theme, conduct research, come up with business ideas, and go through the process of implementing them.

The theme of the first session, held in the summer of 2023, was “inbound tourists.” Kanazawa receives many tourists from overseas, but what do they come to Kanazawa for and what do they enjoy? We focused on “food” among other aspects of tourism to deepen our understanding, and based on this, we came up with ideas for services to be commercialized.

In the program, we actually surveyed foreign tourists and interviewed experts on tourism as well as foreigners living in Ishikawa Prefecture. Danish staff led the planning and operation of the program, and we learned about Kanazawa from a foreigner’s point of view. Based on what they learned, participants thought about what kind of services they would like to have and shared their ideas.
